Kyouraku Shunsui is the Captain of the eighth squad, and as such he wears a white coat over his uniform, with a hand painted number of his squad on the back. The coat is lined in a dark pink satin, and his long sash is made of pale green georgette. Over this ensemble he often wears a pink kimono, which has been carefully patterned with appliqué and hand painting.
